I wonder, has anyone had luck using controllers/gamepads for these games?
I'm finding the keyboard layout to be nearly unplayable (Hold S + Direction + Space to dodge is a little nuts).
And I keep trying to use WASD for movement.

Yeah a controller is a better bet. Although you may experience some problems and need to do some fine tuning with the controller.

As a bit of an addendum I have been experiencing some problems using a controller with some of the games. The original Soul Reaver it seems as though Raziel wants to book it full speed in any direction and does not want to remain still. I have checked this out on other games and it seems to be exclusive here.

I think Soul Reaver 1 never actually had analog stick support? Or that the game was basically made for a d-pad setup with an automatic follow-camara, and a switch for going into a focus camera. So you can map the camera to be bumped with the mouse, or map that to an analog stick. But it's.. "meant" to be played with on/off walk/run and an automatic camera, with a bump left and right with the bumper buttons.
But it DID have an analog stick support back on the PS.

Ouch, yes, of course you're right. Booted up the emulator, and of sure enough, it has analog stick support. What a ridiculous oversight for the PC version..

I say the PC version in general is one big ridiculous oversight. What a sloppy porting job.

I actually figured out how for SR1. I'll be uploading my solution on PCGAMINGWIKI in a bit, as soon as I modify the display icon/button textures. I'm still trying to see what i can do for sr2 and Defiance, since the configs are encrypted.
