On Steam new modification (patch) for SR1 was released (version 1.2.3.0: new Sound Engine, Achievements Engine, updated Bink Engine, additional improvements).

You can ask gog about something like for gog-version of SR1 (which is exactly the same as Steam-version), because they sold to the Square Enix the previous version of this mod (bink-patch - v.1.2.1.0 in new or v.1.0.0.3 in old numerations) and now they should to work off obtained for no efforts money. ^)
