When I install pc save files, it says "can't load save file".
All the files are listed in the game load menu, but it can't load any.
My saves load ok.
Anyone know what to do?

Please elaborate. What do you mean by "install PC save files"? Do I understand correctly that you're trying to launch some older saves?

Sarafan: Please elaborate. What do you mean by "install PC save files"? Do I understand correctly that you're trying to launch some older saves?
These are saves downloaded from various sites. They are all the same version, 2004 retail version of the game.
I have the steam version, I assume most current, and updated retail version. Is it just because my version is too new?
Did it work for anybody else? Can I do anything to make them work? Any help would be much appreciated.
