I just got x-padder. It's pretty easy to assign keys to the x-box controller, and I can get the x-padder to work while I am in the desktop. For instance, if I have Word running I can get the x-box controller to type x by hitting x button on the controller.

My problem is how do you get Soul Reaver to recognize the x-padder profile. I have it running in the background but that doesn't work.

Is there a place I need to save it or a certain command line I need to use?

Make sure soul reaver is set to keyboard mode for its controls for starters


If you have mapped and have soul reaver set to keyboard mode and its still not responding then go to your xpadder exe file and set it to admin rights and compat mode to XP. Then boot it up with the soul reaver profile.

That's the problem I had but putting it xp compatibility mode solved it.

Not having it in xp compatibility was the problem. Thank you so much..otherwise I would have been spending the entire day creating shortcuts and changing targets---as this one beginner guide had suggested.

It will be great to play the game with an x-box controller now.
