Bryson: I logged in just to say that this poster is linking to a very deliberate virus. Can a mod please take a look at this and maybe ban the poster was well? I found it fishy when he linked an .exe file instead of the file for his profile.
I would never link to a virus. Check my REP, I've been here much longer than you, and I'm very well known here in the GOG's forums.
I remember posting this long ago (11 months, and 1 week ago), and it is just a text file for the well known program Xpadder, with the extension ".xpadderprofile". I just downloaded the file to check it, and it is the same .xpadderprofile file that I uploaded from my HDD, with the same CRC (
C7808165) as the one I currently still have.
But you'are wrong.
What you think it is a virus, is not from me. It is the FileFactory Download Manager, which is not needed to download the file. If the file is downloaded with the option "Download with FileFactory's download manager" enabled, FileFactory download an .exe file with the same name of the file linked. Again, this is not mine, my file is named as "Legacy Of Kain - Soul Reaver.xpadderprofile". I don't know why is this, this wasn't in the FileFactory page when I uploaded the file.
You just need to disable the option "Download with FileFactory's download manager" and it should download my file. You can test it with the CRC (Checksum: C7808165) in any CRC checker (like RapidCRC).
Please, don't post things like that if you don't know what you're doing and without proofs. The download manager is not my fault, it's FileFactory's.
