When loading a saved game, the game crashes. (KAIN2.EXE stop working) Not with all the saves. However, it is annoying. So I keep a couple saves.

I don't see similar problems here and those that exist I do not see them solved. If anyone knows how to solve it I would appreciate the help.

Core I3, Windows 7 64, 4GB RAM, Geforce 9400 gt
Compatibility Mode Windows XP servicepack 2 (I don't think my specs offers a hint cuz i had the same problem back then)
UAC off
Run as admin
DEP as default

So far there's no real solution, what i do to play (besides maintain a couple saves) is get killed at physical and spiritual world and save at the very beginning (you start there after loading anyway)

Try sending them all your save files and give them as detailed of what you were doing in game and as close of a approximation of when the issue first happened.

I seem to be having some similar issues. I load up a save, go through the portal to where I want to be, and each time, as soon as I enter a certain area (for reference, it's the room with sunlight breaking through right before the big room that descends into the floor after you switch some gears on downstairs) it freezes up and tells me "Kain2.exe has stopped working".

Intel Core i7 @3.40 GHz, 8 GB RAM, Win 7 64.
