I have read a thread that previously covered this topic, but I find that setting it to Windows 95 compatibility mode slows down the game dramatically with choppy cutscenes/gameplay. I also have dgvoodoo running configured with this which fixed a problem before in which the devour button refused to work. I am running Windows 10 64-bit with the following specs

Core i7-7700
16GB DDR4 RAM
GeForce GTX 1060 3GB

Any assistance regarding this will be greatly appreciated!

Never mind folks. I tried everything from setting affinity to 1 to having Win 95 compatibility mode and while the Dgvoodoo wrapper worked for some time, it looks like it still froze, even with Win 95 compatibility mode, or rather it slowed to a crawl, and had to restart the computer. Was about 10 hours in, but its okay, I'll just buy the PS2 version, since I still have a PS2. Was originally designed for that console anyways, as I've heard that the PC version was considered unstable even back then. I give up trying to get it to work, its not worth trying any longer.
