Hi, I want to buy this game, but I need to know first if I can play it with a PC Controller.
I have a Gamestop brand PC controller, is it possible to use it to play this game?
Or do I have to use the keyboard, which seems a bit awkward to play a 3D platformer with.

yeah you can, I have a cheap ps2 controller knockoff but because of the analogue sticks (that the game doesn't support) Raziel kept running in circles. I used a nice program called joy2key (its free and you can assign keyboard buttons to your gamepad) and it worked perfectly, awesome game too.

Thanks, I take it that this works on the other games to right?

It is controller friendly but the pc controls are quite good. It controls like Tomb Raider which is quite good compared to it's console buddy.
Gamepad not working.. Have cheep PS2 knock off. Joy2key did not work.
The game does not detect my controller at all. It worked fine for SR1. I'm more than a little annoyed. Any help for this?
I'm having trouble with my controller as well. I have a wired Xbox 360 controller. It detects the controller just fine, but it seems to have trouble detecting the inputs. It seems to think that my controller's analog stick is perpetually down.

I've tried switching to keyboard and using joy2key, but it doesn't seem to detect my inputs at all.

Edit: Found a solution... sort of. Someone mentioned Pinnacle Game Profiler in another thread so I decided to check it out. It isn't free, but it works pretty well for me and it's really easy to set up (there are already a bunch of profiles available so you don't have to map all the keys if you don't want to.)
Anyway it wasn't too expensive since it's on sale, plus there are a ton of other games I intend to use this on.
