Actually it's not necessary. The fix for Soul Reaver 2 works perfectly with Blood Omen 2. The only thing you need to do is download the Direct3D 8 to Direct3D 9 wrapper https://github.com/crosire/d3d8to9/releases. It's a single .dll file that needs to be put in the main folder of the game.

I've recently purchased this on sale and the the dll file from above fixed the menu issue.
No need to apply other fixes.
