I came a bit (First new armor) in Blood Omen 2, First Part in the Upeer City, and when I come to the first cut scene there, the game always hangs up (music loops in one note, nothing works anymore).

I wanted to try Compatibility mode fpr Win 98, as that was mentioned a few times, but with that the savegame vanishes.

Edit: Forget to mention: I play on Windows 7, on a Intel multicore Laptop

In addition to the compatibility mode (set to Windows XP service pack 3), try using a single core to run the game.

1. Start Blood Omen 2.
2. Ctrl+Alt+Del at the main menu.
3. In Task manager, click on the "Processes" tab.
4. Right-click on Bo2.exe and select "Set Affinity".
5. Select only one core.

If this solution would be of help, you can make it permanent creating a shortcut as explained in this guide.

Thanks for the help, with this I manged to continue.
In fact the first step helped enough (Compatibility mode Windows XP Service Pack 3) was enough so I could still find my saves but not crash in the cut scene.

Should any similar bugs occur now, I will update here.
Thanks
