I don't see any difference between setting the in-game detail level to low and setting it to high. See attached screen shots. Anybody else have this issue?

FWIW YouTube videos of the game suggest it's possible to get it looking much better than what I'm able to achieve. It seems permanently stuck on low detail.

The difference is only visible in further distance. Comapre the two mode in an outdoor level. On low detail everything beyond 5 meters line of sight has no textures anymore.
Unfortunately you can't enhance the resolution or anything else.
