I found this in the Southland Forest dropped (I think) by one of the lizards in the area. I'm just wondering what its for?

They're useless. At best, you can sell them to the idol in Gorkha Swamp for cash, or use them to weigh down pressure plates. But otherwise they have no function, nor are they quest items.
