Anyone got the method? I can get the first dialog with him, he asks me not to leave him here. But I'm not really sure how to free him from his possession. Even using Blind only, can kill him, it really makes no sense, as it should just stun.

We can't seem to heal him either. I thought maybe if I went and killed the end sphere but the walls close behind me and can't get back to him.

im afraid the is no way to save rixx. there are some old walkthroughs that say you have to use some spark spells to heal him and theres even a video in the game directory where rixx thanks you for his rescue, but i tried a lot of things on him, searched a lot of forums about this topic, yet no one has found a way to save him. no item, no spell at any level can heal him. maybe its a bug, or the developers forgot to add the option to heal him, i dont know. for now there is no way to save him, im sorry.

The official game guides says you can save him using first level Prism spell Blind. I think what happened is the Blind was not intended to cause damage, only stun. Since it IS causing damage it's mostly likely the bug/error.

Damn this is frustrating ( :p ) you get the first dialog interrupt by (letting him walk all the way up the hall, then casting Blind (Prism level 1) a couple of times.) Just can't find any info on this anywhere. Anyone recall the method to save Rixx? Funny thing is apparently it's LORE for him (to live, he's in LoL 3).

I did see one report about Greg Zuniga (who played Rixx) actually being on Facebook but I don't have an account to try to ask him.

I played LOL2 short before it got released on GOG and healed him by attacking with the prism sword (which casts a level1 prism spell by a chance of 20%) and I remember as it was yesterday that I even saved him in my first playthrough over 10 years ago.

But I'm not sure if that happened because of some weird coexistence or the pure fact that I played it in a pure dos environment

Didn't realize he was possessed. I just thought he was a jerk.
