Hi All, I am working my way through the swamp and mines, etc. First time I have ever played and am having a blast with the game. I am actually enjoying it much more than Grimrock... Which is strange I guess, but I just like the settings and that the characters have some story/personality. There are so many games like this on GOG, but this seems very accessible (mostly because of the auto map). I have also played through stonekeep, which I loved.

Anyway, can anyone recommend other games like that that are not impossibly difficult or require graph paper? Eye of the Beholder, etc. I am not really up for anything that could be impossible to complete.

Thanks for any recommendations!

Might and Magic III, IV and IV and Wizardry VI and VII also have the block movement system and they have an automap.

Both Ravenloft games and Menzoberranzan can switch between block movement and free movement and they also have an automap.

Both Ultima Underworld games only have free movement, but they also have a great automap.
''Black Crypt'' on Commodore Amiga computer (or WinUAE emulator!).
I think you would enjoy Anvil of Dawn. GOG has it.
Cardhalia is on the internet

Mazes of fate
