Hi all.
I just bought this game :)

As soon as I started my adventure, I had a problem.
When i tried to save, the system prompted me with an error message: the file "_LEVEL1.TMP" seems to be missing, and the game asks me for CD1 in cd-rom drive -.-"
So i'm not able to save, and the game quits.
I had the same problem opening the book of magics (i took it from the king's library in the start of the game).
I checked for file integrity, I downloaded again the game and I installed it 3 or 4 times, but the problem remains...

Ideas?

Hi, i guess you are talking about lands of lore 1 :D
can you tell me your system components and your OS? if you are using vista or windows 7 and installed the game under ...\program files\ , maybe the game lacks the proper administrator rights, because it writes the savegames directly in the game directory.

I'm in contact with gog support, but we find no solution yet.

I am using Windows 7, and I already tried to run the program as administrator, but nothing changed.

Just tell me what component you need to know, I tried to copy and paste my dxdiag.txt but it's to long to post.

Like Oedi said, try to install the game to another folder outside "Program Files (x86)", like for example C:\GOG\... and see if it works.
