So I started playing Lands of lore 3 and I found it not as dreadful as people usually say, at least not worse than Lands of lore 2. However, I did some initial "quests" and went to the lava world where I met this dragon who supposedly has one of the shards I'm looking for but when I fight the dragon I die whenever the dragon is supposed to die.
Simply whenever dragon's hitpoints drop to zero I just die for some reason. What the hell is that?

iirc you have to drain the lava sea in the middle of the room. there are three(?) fountains/pillers delivering it with lava which you have to destroy. after doing so the dragon can be killed. if you still die after that, try range attacks before it dies, im not sure if it had some AoE damage effect when dying.
