Hi Folks,

did anyone encounter this possible bug:

In the deep jungle with the wild ones, the guard that secures the entrance to their village won't let me through. And yes, I visited the all the other places, including the Dracoid Ruins.

I've read that you need to show him Daniel's Sword. This I did yet he keeps repeating the line: "We don't sell or buy for profit like the Huline pigs."

I killed him in the end (with the rest of the wild ones afterwards).

One thing I can think of that could lead to this possible bug is when I entered the jungle for the first time and three wild ones awaiting me, I selected the sword from my inventory to show it to Daniel but never got to it since the three of them left before I could give it to him (so he never could drop it in the first place).

Does anyone confirm this situation/bug? May someone replicate this for me (remember, you have to visit the Huline Temple first to make the guard show up) or has a savegame ready?

Yes, you have to give Daniel the sword as soon as you meet him, otherwise the guard won't recognize it.
