I remember reading a review when the game came out which gave it a very bad rating but at the time the reviews were sometimes very biased, so I'd like to ask how good was it back then and how good is it nowadays, compared to other famous RPGs of the era.
The article hated the fact that the treasure was illogically distributed (eg. gold stashes in every tree, or food, jewelry and other things the enemies or stashes shouldn't have), saying the game is made too easy by that (I think, or at least you get tons of stuff), and supposedly it was way worse than the two previous games.
How's the combat?
