I was unable to find anything in the forums regarding this, so maybe one of you has an idea:
The game appears to be a bit too dark for me. Especially in the beginning of the game where you walk around in the cave and drarakels museum, I can barely see anything without constantly casting the spark spell.

So is there a way to increase the brightness at least a little bit?

I know that there is a Gamma Setting in the Options but that is not the same as a brightness setting and just makes already bright areas brighter, but does not brighten dark areas.

Gamma seems to work fine for me. Did you set your monitor to something really dark? Sun reflection?

Nope, I even tried increasing my monitor brightness levels but it doesn't help much which is why I had hoped to increase somehow the internal brightness of the rendering of the game.
But that is a good point, I will try with a different monitor.
