Hi all,

Currently playing 'Lands Of Lore 2: Guardians of Destiny' and really enjoying the uniqueness of it. Two questions which I'm unable to find answers for online.

1. In certain areas the UI border flashes blue and a sound plays (metal chimes?). I have no idea what this means, It will trigger everytime I walk over the same spot.

2. I've been lost for a while so decided to cheat with a walkthrough guide, apparently there is supposed to be a character named "dawn" in the monastary library but the room is empty. I have spoken to the general in the garden twice who has since vanished and am unable to access the door where "Julian" is supposed to be. Is this a bug? I already helped the lady in the lava caves, her daughter was killed before i arrived. It seems "Dawn" decided to stay in bed today.

I can't get passed the memory crash, tried the -LOWMEM parameter in config file. Unfortunately the game is broken and Lore 3 just feels unfinished, man I was thoroughly enjoying it too.

Do you know of any similar games by chance?

I think you can easily pass the crash by going to Video Controls in the menu, then setting the Game Resolution to Low.
(Game might ask for a restart.)
After you've been to the cantina you can turn it back to high. Thankfully it's the only place in the game where this crash happens.

There's also a fix floating around on the forums somewhere, where you edit the exe file with a hex editor and manually fix it forever.

If you trust me enough, I can also send my fixed exe file, although you should probably be very wary of people sending exe files. x)

As for similar games: Not that I know of. To me LoL2 is rather unique in its own way and I keep returning to play it once every couple of years.
