After installing the UNRATED Patch of Kuroinu Redux, there was no changes seemed to take place and the title screen or Menu is the same censored version.

Upon close inspection, it seems that the UNRATED patch incorrectly places the adult contents on the wrong file directory.

When the UNRATED Patch is installed, there’s a folder named appropriately as “patch” being placed in the game directory. in order for the adult contents/ UNRATED Version of the game to be applied, you have to manually copy the two files namely kuro_op and update1.ypf located on the pac folder inside the patch, then go to Kuroinu_Redux folder, there you’ll see another pac folder. Paste the contents there.

If done correctly, the screen will change into an uncensored version with nude ladies in the title menu and the original H-Scenes/Erotic contents restored.


Hopefully they'll fix the UNRATED Patch Installer so people won't have to manually restore the adult contents themselves...

the unrated version has mosaic ?

Ah yes! The Shiravune Version which is what we have here in GOG has mosaic on the HCG or Hentai Scenes, although there's a fan made patch that removes the mosaic, however not all scenes are fixed with the patch. I forgot where to find that particular patch,

Besides mosaics are a given when playing Japanese Adult Games...
