When I first entered the sewers I caught a glimpse of a monster but didn't follow it at the time.
I HAVE found the den and killed the other two (and smashed the eggs) but now I can't find that monster I first saw - and to get help from The Mockers I need to kill all three ....
I've been prowling round for eons now and ended up back at the entrance, where I've made a save.
[I've tried repeatedly from this spot to find the correct path to the third monster - but no luck.]
Can anyone please help with a "L,L,R,R" sort of path ??

From the entrance, go to T junction. Turn Left. This should be where you saw that first beastie.
Follow this tunnel and take first left.
Follow this tunnel where you should meet (or have already met) a group of treasure hunters.
Continue on around bend in tunnel and beastie should be located at dead end.
If you need some extra xp, it will supposedly respawn after a short interval.

Thank you for that - although I have already done that route several times and never found the monster.
I would have thought my xp was high enough - but maybe the game doesn't consider it to be- so I guess I'd better mess about for a bit and hope for a re-spawn.
[By which time my brain will have rotted from the stench !! Hehe.]
Thanks again. Your help is much appreciated :-)
I never recall running into that problem.
But..... have you walked directly to where you smashed the eggs from where you enter the sewers? I played through that area recently and thats where I encountered the monster (avoid the roundabout with the running water).
I doubt there is a respawn so if this doesn't work you might have to restart/reload.
Weirdly, I was allowed to go ahead and talk to Lucas after killing just the two monsters in their den, so, to my surprise, I was able to finish the chapter !!
At the start of chapter three I decided to make the Wealthy Sector my first port of call and instantly had to go back down into the sewers again for the " Gerard's Gems" quest.
Of course, I got lost again trying to find my way out (pathetic, huh, hehe) and who do I meet whilst wandering around but that 3rd monster !!
So at least it IS now well and truly dead :-D
Next I plan to visit the Wreckers Guild and, if I am remembering correctly, this leads to a rather annoying "picture" puzzle. So I am girding my loins ready .... Aggghhhhh !! ;-)
Hey, I love that puzzle! Ocean sounds and everything, but....
You don't actually have to do that puzzle, if you wish to avoid it. The puzzle gets you a crucial item, but there is another copy of that item in the lair of a certain breed of nocturnal bird...
I'll be having a go at the puzzle of course but thanks for the tip, darkness58ec. Good to know there is another option :-)
I have a completely different question now ....
Despite many spells in all four of the paths seeming to be available, whenever I ask Jazhara to cast a spell the only one she WILL cast is Mindblade !!
I have been putting points into the spells of all 4 paths and several in each path are now highlighted - so how do I get her to cast one of them ??

Well, how exactly are you trying to cast the spell?
You might not have enough spellcasting points (mana) to cast the spell. IN which case you need to rest (depending on what chapter you are in) or drink a spellcasting potion. Mindblade is the spell with the least spellcasting points, so that is probably your problem.
Otherwise, make sure you are actually going into the spellcasting menu when you are in combat, instead of just looking at your spells marked as favorites.
Hi.
After reading your last reply (thank you) I realised I WASN'T using the Spell Casting Menu properly so I experimented and found I COULD cast some other spells - although not always the ones I would have liked !! ;-)
[And I always keep my spell points topped up :-D]
Now that I am in chapter 3 I've also tried brewing potions - once - but although I had all the ingredients and necessary equipment, and rested for a whole 11 hours, I didn't end up with any !!
I have no idea why .... I'll experiment some more.
I'm most grateful for the help you have given and hope you don't look on me as too big a pest !!
No, its my pleasure to help.
I think you only need to rest 4-5 hours to brew potions. Did it say your potion brewing failed or what? I don't recall having that problem before.
Hi.
Sorry I didn't reply to your post sooner.
Because I started to make good progress, I carried on with the game and forgot to come back here !!
MY BAAAAAAD !! And I do apologise.
However I can now brew any potion (when I have all the ingredients) so I don't know why I couldn't before. That is still a mystery !!
My latest successful quest was to save the farmer's children, after which I visited Widow's Point. Unfortunately the "raise the ship" spell failed, apparently due to "magical" interference, after which I was auto transferred to a scene where William and a couple of his soldiers have come face to face with Bear and some of his men - above the river. But I appear to have struck a glitch here ....
All I am allowed to do is move one of William's soldiers - once.
He doesn't get close enough to Bear's men to attack any of them and even though he stays highlighted I can't move him again.
And, of course, because he remains highlighted, I can't move anyone else either.
My only way out of the scene is to exit the game without saving !! [Not good.]
[I've also been trying to find Haldon Head. I'm sure I've visited every red ring on the map interface by now but none have turned out to be Haldon Head.]
So I've ground to a halt :-(
Are you able to please offer any help ??

Bean1eMad: [...]

Can't you just end his turn?
Haldon Head is a village you will enter after William's fight. Next chapter takes place there.

Thanks for the fast respone, Thiev :-)
If I right click on him (or the other soldier) I just get a "non-interactive" description.
And all I can do with William himself is get to see his stats page.
Is there some other way of ending a turn than right clicking ??

I don't have save to check, and I don't remember that part well, but isn't he an archer? There were couple of archers among William's soldiers, who had ranged attack.
To end turn, just hit Enter.

"To end turn, just hit Enter."
Thank you !!
I wasn't aware of being able to end a turn like that. It's usually R Click and then select the option End Turn.
So .... I've now been able to complete the "William" episode (Yeah !!) and have reached Haldon Head.
Appreciate your help very much :-D
