RETURN TO KRONDOR

Had trouble getting the game to run but found a link that fixed that..however the cinematics are showing a black screen. I tried modifying the ini to "stretch=1" and "stretch 0" per another post but no dice. Is there a fix to get the cinematics to work within the game? DIVX was trying to run them but I tried to change it to windows media player but I have the same problem. I am able to watch the movies with in the games directory though.

the ini fix to at least get the game to run was
http://www.gog.com/en/support/return_to_krondor/an_error_has_been_detected_which_prevents_the_game_from_continuing

Any help with the movies would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Write to our Support department and we'll do our best to find out where the problem lies. Thanks :D
I finally found the problem! Movies are working. Oddly, Windows Media Player 12 stops working when I try to run the movies from the directory but Divx player was able to play them from the directory. However the movies would not play when I was in the game. I ended up updating the divx player and all is good now. Still don't know why Windows Media Player wont cooperate but Divx is working fine now.
Thanks for the reply!

Great to hear :D

Also, you might want to try the VLC media player as that also supports quite a few formats, in case you need a back up player :D
