I just transferred my game to a new computer. After much painstaking work, I got MIDI sound to play for the game. The next day I come by and the "introduction" setting is turned off in the preferences menu. No matter what I do I cannot turn it back on, and, therefore, the introduction will not play. The game is also again playing the CD music, despite my doing everything in this forum's sticky post about getting MIDI sound.

I have no idea what is wrong. Is it a setting on DOSBox? (Unlike with my last computer, I have DOSBox downloaded on the computer in general, in addition to downloading BAK from GOG.)

Does anyone have any idea what is going on?
Okay, solved this one too: It turns out the SX.OVL file I copied into my game directory was not the one from tikalat addendum. The file I originally used created a problem where you couldn't turn on introduction under "preferences." For those who want MIDI sound, make sure you use the Tiktalat version of that file and run the Sierra Patch that is also part of the addendum.
