Is there a way to run BiA installed from Galaxy Client in windowed mode?

This posted in 2012 and now it is 2017 and NOBODY has figured out how to make this game run w/o a hitch. Reminds me of the COngress and heath care. FIVE years and noone takes the GLITCH seriously. It used to run in Dosbox but that seems to have been changed. OVER thirty hours trying to get this game to run, and it still crashes after the Prolog scene.
If I recall correctly, back in the day, when I loaded from CD, it was the AUDIO settings that made it hang. There were several other glitches, but I have not played the game in five years, so do not recall them.
COME ON GOG. Make a FIX batch.
