The journal message mentions that an update was planned for 2/15. As it's now 2/15, I'm wondering if we'll be seeing a new patch to download on our GOG account pages soon?

I'm saying the exact opposite ;) We have normal working hours, with occasional "OMG OMG emergency we need this ASAP"
EDIT: Ah, I see how my response could be interpreted. ;) what I meant was we don't have night shifts at all.

The patch is now online, but unfortunately the Journal has been pushed to Friday as it still need a bit more love ;)

However if your game suffers from bad performance, the update offer many improvements on that end.

Plus you can now customize the controls.
