Okay I bought this game a while back when GOG was having their summer sale (I think) and I didn't get around to playing it until just recently. My first impression, the game is kinda cool. I love the art style and the creepy atmosphere. However, I am put off by two things. First, is that I am not sure what to do in-game. There are no instructions or objectives and I feel like I am walking my character around doing pretty much nothing. So, what exactly AM I supposed to do, or is just a kind of game where you walk around and get scared? how long does it go on for? Please explain as much as you can WITHOUT spoiling anything. Thank You

My other issue is that my game does not appear to be saving. Everytime I quit and go back in and click Continue Game, I start back in bed like when you first start the game. Must you reach a certain point in the game before it auto-saves? Again, thanks in advance

There's also a "Do's and Don'ts" among the bonus contents that gives vague hints without spoiling anything. The exploration of what to do is an essential part of the game, so be very careful not to spoil the fun.
