So the game mentioned that it supports co-op but the description says "Local Co-Op". Does that mean that only local co-op (As in several People on the same PC)? Or is there a network option at all?

Local only if you're getting it through GOG unfortunately.
Steam has remote access option so someone can play locally with you through a stream, but the game doesn't have built it network coop.
