I am unable to pick up the rocks and have them appear in my inventory? Anyone else has an issue like this?

I've been trying to play KQVIII for several days and I can't get past the mill/axe scene. I've read all the notes and replies on the subject and nothing works.

I'm very disappointed in GOG because I thought they would have worked out all the bugs before releasing the game on this site. I wasted my money on this game.

So....good luck with the rock problem.
