I'm sorry but I just followed those instructions to the letter. I changed the maskrt.dll in the mask.exe file with the hex editor you told me. I placed the avi files Nicode fixed, along with the .dll's, put everything and it still crashes. What am I not doing? Or perhaps it needs something else?

What dll files are you talking about? Remove the dll files for the videos and just use the avi's.

Look: in the KQ root directory there are three dll files with the same names as the videos. Am I right? I guess those files are the ones the game usually uses to playback the videos during gameplay. Those are the files I am talking about. First, I put the avi's along with the dll's, and nothing. Then, I deleted the dlls and left only the avi's. Then, I took the avis and turned them to dll. None of these actions worked. That is why I am puzzled. I have followed instructions to the letter and I am wondering what am I doing wrong.

I understand. Now, in another topic in these forums, I submitted an error that occurred during the swamp Chest-Henchman part, which I have not been able to resolve. This error has just happened to me again, twice, but now in the Realm of the Dead. Attached to this is the error that pops everytime it crashes. This error was similar to the error that popped up at the chest part in the Swamp. I would appreciate your help.
