Hmm, does anyone have any suggestions on how one might be able to extract the texture artwork in the game, and loading screen artwork? Maybe even extract sound files?

I'm curious to see what material or unused material might exist in the game files.

Also if anyone is able to 'printscreen' the concept art from the loading screens. Could you upload them to the KQ Omnipedia?

There are already tools available for opening the sounds, off the top of my head there's Game Audio Player, and SV.exe (I forget what that one is actually called, it's just a tool for SCI games).

For the graphics, most are just normal .bmp files but some things like the loading screens are in a weird .pbm file format.

Thank you so much for this. Ya I know about SCi Viewer. I love it, and its been handy for putting together the Omnipedia!

As for sound, I'll give Game Audio Player a chance, hopefully it will open the voice samples? I'm hoping I'll find some material cut from the game!

As for the BMPs, ya, I've found quite a bit of material so far that never made it into the game! However, not all the BMPs seem to open in Win7 or Vista. I'll go look to see if there is a difference in XP.

As for pbm files, any advice on how to open those?

Thanks in advance!

Still need a suggestion for opening pbm files, if anyone knows how?
