Hi,

this last month I've been working in a patch that adds subtitles to King's Quest V CD Talkie english version.

It is an installer. You must select the language you want the subtitles (english or spanish).

I think all the voices have subtitles, but maybe I forget something. I done this with SCI Companion, and it is only a patch, I don't even touch the GOG install, apart to rename 6 files. It is mandatory to use the latest ScummVM 2.9.0 (which I include in the installer) to make possible this subittle patch to work. It is obvious that you need at least the GOG version for this patch.

I want to acknowledge people of sciprograming.com to solving some issues, and also to sluicebox for enabling in ScummVM 2.9.0 the posibility to use the multilingual feature of this fanmade patch.

I tested the spanish part. I have not checked the english lines with the voices. Maybe there is some that is not well transcribed.
