Does anyone out there know why King's Quest is named that rather than the full name? I'd expect it to be "King’s Quest - Quest for the Crown", to look and be consistent with the rest of the series.
I realize that the subtitle only came with the re-release in 1987 and wasn't part of the original PCjr game. But it would be consistent with the rest of the series on GOG. :/
Though it's probably too late for GOG to change it now, I'm still curious why it wasn't named with its rerelease name to be consistent with the naming of the other entries.
(BTW, for those of us who try to keep our games organized across distribution systems, this leads to two King's Quest entries: this one and the newer one which is a different game altogether.)
