Ok I'm running this game on windows 10... soon as I click on the game as other people have said "it skips the intro". But that's not all, it also won't allow me to use full screen mode. As soon as I click the full screen mode in the top right hand corner it immediately gets out of the game with a message from windows saying "Mask of eternity has stopped working - A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available" which they don't do haha. I've even tried just pressing play to see what happens, and it did exactly the same thing. So this game is not even playable at the moment. Anyway any help would be great, I was almost not going to bother with this as I had an issue halfway through the game on the original CD years ago. But if there is away around all these problems I'd love to play it again. Great game minus the dramas haha

I am having the exact same issue. This is frustrating as seeing all the other versions I have played have worked. Seems like this has been an on going issue for awhile now that I read through the forum.

It's sounds like standard 'no cd drive' crash issue I think. Where the game tries to see if have a cd-drive to test the game for anti-piracy. But GOG has never fixed the issue... There are a number of ways to get around it... and they are discussed in other threads...
