Excuse the newbie question, but I can't figure out how to check what items I have in King's Quest I. The game mentions a "Take inventory" command when I get a game over, but if I type in "Take inventory", the game responds by saying "I don't understand "inventory"". In the other games, I was able to check my items through the tool bar at the top of the screen, but that doesn't seem to be in the first King's Quest (in fact, I don't even have any mouse control at all). Could someone please help me out?

Thanks a bunch! I never actually thought of trying any of the other keys, and just kept trying to type commands. Seems kind of obvious now that it's said. Enjoying the game much more now that I don't have to memorize my inventory!
