I apologize as it seems there are several threads on this similar issue, but King's Quest 8 simply won't open for me. Literally nothing happens when I click the shortcut created after download, or the launch option in the folder. I'll admit I'm not the most computer savvy person, but any help would be appreciated. As stated in the subject I have window's 8.1.

Same for me. No error message, no screen change, no nothing.

On a rare occation something that looks like a old-fashioned game start menu flashes, but that's it...

I downloaded Virtual CloneDrive and set up one drive, and it started like a charm with DgVoodoo2 or whatever!
