First off, let's start with a request that is King's Quest related: the official King's Quest 1 VGA/SCI remake! Now I know there are probably many of you who prefer the original, I do too, but I still think that the remake should be made available on gog.com. So, if you agree with me, please vote it up here:

Suggested by Gydion: The alternative versions of King's Quest 4-6. These versions have a number of differences from the versions gog.com currently offers, and you can read more about the differences on the voting pages. Vote these up here:

Oh, and there is another King's Quest related game you can help vote up, too! "The Wizard and the Princess" is the precursor to the King's Quest series, and although I have never played it I think it would be nice if gog.com released it. The link to vote it up is below.

Now, for non-King's Quest related but still Sierra-owned games: Spelling Jungle and Spelling Blizzard (AKA Yobi's Basic/Advanced Spelling Tricks). I know that these target a younger audience than King's Quest, but they are still Sierra quality games and are quite fun to play even as an adult. In fact, Yobi's Advanced Spelling Tricks, the one I have played, may be the single best example I have run into of a learning game done right. Even if you haven't heard of these games before now, please vote up both these games below. These games are too good to let fall into complete obscurity.

If you know of any other Sierra games that gog.com has yet to resurrect, please let me know so that I can add them to this list. Also, please spread these links so that we can get these things voted up.

I played the Colonel's Bequest when I was a little girl! It was a very well made murder mystery, from what I remember. Better, I feel, than the second Laura Bow game.

I went and voted for all of the Sierra games listed. They made the best games.
Duplicate of Roberta Williams' King's Quest I: Quest for the Crown (SCI Remake).

You also forgot:

King's Quest IV: Perils of Rosella (AGI version)

King's Quest V: Abscense makes the Heart Go Yonder (floppy version, VGA)

King's Quest VI: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow (floppy version)
I actually did look to see if someone had already made an entry for the SCI remake and didn't find any. I will update the first post with the new link, as well as to the other ones.

I assumed you overlooked it. King's Quest IV for slightly different puzzles, extra wildlife, etc. King's Quest V floppy version, text only, would add a lot of value to the collection. As Baggins notes, the alternate intro cutscene can be watched in its entirety in the KQ6 demo.

I remember years ago being so disappointed by Sierra's Amiga port versions of the Space Quest series. I'd waited years for Sierra to do them and when they finally happened they were so disappointing--nothing but straight ports of the original DOS EGA games! So, so very disappointing considering what could have been done in the Amiga versions. I remember writing Sierra an impassioned letter at the time: "Roger Wilco without a face? On the Amiga? How could you do that?" And writing about all of the graphics modes and the 8-bit stereo sound the Amiga ports should have received. It did no good at all, of course--as by then Sierra was more of a sales item than an ongoing company. It was Crazy--why bother releasing ports of the games if you had no plans to tap any of the amazing Amiga hardware back then--especially compared to DOS/EGA hardware standards? So many lost opportunities...ah, well....
The Colonel's bequest is a fantastic game--one of my favorites of all time. Roberta Williams et al were really pushing what they could do with the technology available to them. The graphics are better thought out and more beautiful than the vast majority of 8-bit visuals, the story is clever, and he dialogue is well done, too.
Well its actually not a VGA remake, but it was a 1989 remake with just updated n much better&detailed EGA graphics but with the then new SCI engine. I myself understand how sierra fans like myself might prefer the original EGA Games compared to their VGA remakes but not in Kings Quest 1's case, although I have almost always preferred the VGA remakes
IT's a seriously tough choice. Some days I prefer the remakes, other days I prefer the orignals.

Police Quest 1? The original is definitely better than the remake once you look past the graphics. THe remake simplified things far too much, and screwed up the plot continuity with the second and third games. Characters changes names and genders for example.

Space 1, I tend to like the remake more, but the original is great. But I think most of the original fans like the original more.

King's Quest? I like the original for how it better links into KQ2 and KQ3 plot and locatins.

But the remake in higher res EGA was game of beauty, and incredible musical score, and great new script by Josh Mandel. So I like each for different reasons, about equally.

Quest for Glory? I don't like the pastel look of Spielburg in the original, so the more natural colors in the remake look better to me. It has some of my favorite vga visuals for all the sierra games.

Mixed-Up Mother Goose no reason not to play the remakes, they are pretty much the same as the originals. But its a kids game, so don't expect much out of it.

LSL1? Going to have to go with the original, only because the joke in LSL3 makes more sense, if you have played the original.. Although the vga remake is still pretty descent. But this is relative, I'm not really a LSL fan. Far too risqué for my tastes. The newest remake was fun though, and I think it had a better overall script (Josh Mandel again?).

Well, none should forget that "Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist" was one of Sierra's best rated comedies, next to LSL series. And a very famous game in its time. I'm suprised it's not here.
It should be GOG's duty to make this game available again ;). We need more of theirs games.

Please, vote ;).
Well when asking for more sierra games, there are dozens of them not mentioned, though dont know how most feel about the FMV gaes. Codename: ice man, shivers, all the Hoyle's games, sorcerian, castle of dr. brain, stellar 7 remake, lords of the realm, lode runner series, light house: dark being, HOME WORLD which i really would love to have on gog. The list can keep going without particular attention paid to quality but is there a way to contact gog about our wanting and concerns?
Yes, the wish list, or using the suggestions contact option.
Conquests of the Longbow
The Laura Bow games
The Dr. Brain games
Codename: Iceman
Phantasmagoria
Conquests of Camelot
Lighthouse
Space Quest remake
Monkey Island games (original versions)

It would be especially cool for me because I have never played or even seen any of these games except the "Space Quest" remake and "The Island of Dr. Brain." I'm going with games I have heard of that are supposed to be great. All these games would be new to me, so it would be cool to play them
