So the game in this thread is simple. Go through all 8 (or however many you've played) and state simply the first screen, scene, character, or whatever thought comes into your mind when you think of the game. Here's my list:

King's Quest 1: Quest for the Crown - climbing down the well
King's Quest 2: Romancing the Throne - The Ivory tower
King's Quest 3: To Heir is Human - that bloody path from Mannannan's house down to Llewdor.
King's Quest 4: The Perils of Rosella - the undead in the cemetary
King's Quest 5: Absence Makes the Heart Go Yonder - The full page color ads with Graham flying over Serenia
King's Quest 6: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow - the ferryman
King's Quest 7: The Princeless Bride - a prickly pear
King's Quest 8: Mask of Eternity - can't see in front of my face.

KQ1: the well
KQ2: digging up graves :-)
KQ3: getting killed for running out of time - constantly! Ugh!
KQ4: Rosella's marriage to Edgar (best gameover sequence ever!)
KQ5: Cedric - "There's a poooooisonous snake!"
KQ6: The showdown with Stick in the Mud, Bump on a Log, and Rotton Tomato
KQ7: Returning the moon to the sky with a rubber chicken
KQ8: sorry, never played it.

KQ4: Lolotte's goons
KQ5: "Grahm watch out! It's a *poisonous* snake" (I love mimicking the way Cedric says this line)
KQ6: The magic map
KQ7: The desert area you start out in
KQ8: WHY IS THERE NO GUIDE ANYWHERE ON HOW TO FIX THIS! (seriously, though, I haven't finished this one yet, but I don't think I have ever spent as much time searching how to fix a game as much as I have with this one)
KQ8 (ignoring the technical issues): "Whence came this vial tempest" (I findeth the wayeth theyeth talketh amusingeth)

Also, beedlepencil, I can't remember there being any graves in KQ2. I think you might have that confused with KQ4.

KQ1: The witches house/ becoming a Graham cracker
KQ2: Batmobile coming out of Hagatha's cave
KQ3: Walking down the mountain and falling a lot.
KQ4: Being inside the whale and not being able to climb the tounge
KQ5: Wearing the blue cloak on the mountain, and throw a pie at a yeti.
KQ6: Captain Saladin's voice
KQ7: Ooga Booga
KQ8: Gaining a level by hitting the target.
