Hi,

How can I run "King's Bounty - the Legend" in a window? I don't see a full-screen/window option in the game settings. In data, I found game.ini which has a setting:

setf ~windowed 0

I changed that to:

setf ~windowed 1

but it's still full-screen.

You could probably force it to run in a window using dgVoodoo http://dege.freeweb.hu/dgVoodoo2/

Just a note on editing "game.ini" setf ~windowed 1

The game.ini file may be present in more than one location, other than... My Documents\My Games\Kings Bounty\game.ini

I also seem to recall something about "sets ~personal_path" in "<gamefolder>\data\app.ini" being able to set where saves are stored and which "game.ini" is processed.

There was indeed another game.ini, hidden in my user home path.

I'm not sure I understand the point of having another copy somewhere else but at least that solves the problem!
