So I'm confused why King's Bounty 2 isn't on GoG yet.
It's already up for preorder on Steam and Epic Games, and it's releasing in next 6 days.

Did they forget about GoG?

They dont release it on gog anymore (plans and confirmation from february have been scratched), because they are going for Denuvo now,. So it wont be releases on gog but on Steam and Epic with Denuvo.

Is there a source for this? I love the King's Bounty series and was so looking forward to this new game but if it's not going to be available DRM free then it's a no buy from me. So disappointed :(

But I have my doubts anyway. I'm not sure about the overall look and feel of the new installment. Would have sticked with the older ones probably regardless.

That's shitty. Especially since all of their trailers from a year ago had GOG logo. Well I'm not going to buy it then until it releases here. I emailed them, let's see how they respond. I'll post the reply here

Most probably situation will resolve same way as it was with Prey. GOG will get the first really playable (==Denuvo-free) version. But after a year, or couple of years, or several years. Depends on how long hype will last.
