Kings Bounty is Not Working. I changed Direct X. The sound comes on, but the screen dones not come on. There is no error message of any kind, just a black screen. I can see the little silver hand from the mouse pointer, but nothing else. I can even move the mouse pointer around. When I reset the game with the task manager, the screen suddenly appears for an instant then goes back to a black screen. I have an I5 Dual Core Intel Processor with 8GB of RAM.

It is something to do with the graphics maybe. Should I change the graphics resolution?

What type of graphics card do you have, Which version of DirectX are you using? which version of drivers for your graphics card?

I just bought a relatively new Dell computer. It has a new standard graphic card which would come out this year. I am not sure which drivers they are. I think this would be powerful to handle Kings Bounty. Maybe I was not thinking, it does require a 128 MB graphics card.

When I go to the task manager, the opening screen appears briefly. Then disappears. It is a tantalizing, frustrating thing.

Removed game and uninstalled. There are lots of issues with this game, even on 1C. Letting it go and trying something else. i got the computer a few days ago. Even if it does not have a high end graphics card, it is a standard graphics card from Intel. I would expect that this would be fine given the age of the computer game.
