I was installing Crossworlds onto a computer I just got and when I did it normally, it said I was missing: d3dx9_41.dll, and after looking around the forum I saw someone suggested the GoG downloader, which I tried and it still says the same thing. This is the only time a GoG install has given me any trouble, but this is the biggest game I've yet tried to install, so any suggestions would be nice.

You're probably using Windows 7 or newer, which is missing some older components of DirectX9. Try completing your system by installing this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
