Has anyone been able to get one of the camera mods (better zoom in/out) to work with the Dark Side? I've tried a few so far, but can't get anything to work.

Have you tried this one;

It is the one for Warriors of the North and has been reported to work fine in Dark Side. Although keep in mind that the camera mod won't take effect until you transition to a new area. Hope this helps.

Yes, tried those, game crashes when I try to start up. I also have the premium edition, wondering if that's causing issues? Would be curious if someone with the standard edition can make those same mods work for them.

I've got the premium edition and the game doesn't crash for me with the WotN camera mod BUT the problem I have is sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I'm thinking that this offering of the King's Bounty series seems to be very picky at what it likes and what it doesn't...

Btw, which drawer did you put the camera mod in?

Man, I tried every directory I thought might work:

\King's Bounty - Dark Side\data\Mods
\King's Bounty - Dark Side\sessions\darkside\Mods
\King's Bounty - Dark Side\sessions\darkside\addon

Good to know you've at least gotten it to work at one point. Which directory do you have the mods in?

Try just dropping the camera mod loose into King's Bounty\Dark Side\sessions\darkside\ and see if that works.

I've just retried it with a new download of the WotN camera mod. When I transitioned into a new area it now seems to be working fine all the time! Hope it works for you too.

Ok I'll try that. I'll also try uninstalling/reinstalling using that specific path. Could be that it doesn't like the dash in the home directory?

Will post the results here when I've had a chance to test.

Thanks.
Aha, that worked! Either putting into that directory, or a new install. One of the two (or both) seems to have enabled it.

Thanks for your help @Pajama.

Great news - glad it's working :)
