Any option in order to enable a real 1080P format?

Currently i always have black boarders left and right, got games 10 years older than that without such a issue.
I had in mind a game published in 2009 may be able to support 16:9, in the middle of the HD era, so im out of idea.

Although i play on a HDTV, im not the typical joystick grabbing mouse loving PC gamer with a 4:3 screen but so far even the very old baldurs gate series was able to be patched for real 1080P.

Make sure you have the latest patch installed as this one added support for the 16:9 format.

Ah yes, found the patch and it worked for me, perfect.

But something is confusing, Amellie is not on the battlefield?! When all my units wiped out i lose but they never was killing Amellie.

No, the heroes don't fight on the battlefield in King's Bounty (and neither do they in Heroes of Might and Magic, with the exception of part IV). They are considered as a general, commanding their troops only.
