This issue did not happen vs the first shamans i fought, but on verona i get the error every time.

It says that something is wrong with "totem file" and the game freezes so i have to close it with alt+f4. I assume the shamans are causing it as they can cast totems. I have seen them cast totems without it crashing my game, so maybe it is connected with the build up fo adrinaline and improved totems ( the crash only happens near the end of the fight).

If this error cant be fixed is there a way to replace orc stacks with other stacks?

I tried loading earlier saves and it still happens. Orc stacks are guarding map charts so i can not avoid them

I loaded an even earlier save and managed to get the map chart and get further into the game. But now that i am strong enough to take on other orc stacks the glitch returns.
With this glitch there just is no way of me getting through the orc territory, if i keep relaoding older saves i will not get anywhere

Since i play on impossible i need all the exp and loot i can get. So skipping all the orc stacks is not an option.

I don't know if it's the same error I had as I don't remember it anymore, but for me there was dialog box with an Ignore option. I was playing in windowed mode, so might be possible the dialog box is behind the game window. Might try Alt-Tabbing when it happens to see if it's there.

Other than that I cannot help. I would advice contacting the support.

As suggested above if you ALT-TAB and then select Kings Bounty from the task bar it should then give you the option of retry/ignore (and something else). Select Retry and it should take you back to the game and the totem in place. Repeat as necessary.

That's on Win 7 anyway.
