And it can stay there for the time being. The reviews are citing bugs, sloppy controls and hamstrung performance. It should be given the Ion Fury: Aftershock treatment and let it be patched out before release onto GoG.

Yea I saw that. The old one is good enough if that's the way they rolled it lol
On top of all that KPR has no mod, map, or multiplayer support! Zip, zero, none of the things that has kept the original game alive all these years by fans. OG Kingpin with MH's Patch would probably do you better if you like those missing features from KPR.

If you are looking just to play through the single player game and be done then I guess KPR is an option.

What's even funnier is that the 3d realms guy said during the Reloaded stream that this game apparently has an active community, people playing multiplayer together etc. but Reloaded doesn't have any of that.

He was trying super hard to try to sell this game, but everyone could see it's just bad, for many reasons.

Is it at the very, VERY least a rebalanced game? Because Kingpin, even with the patch, was one of the most annoying games I've played NOT because the fucking characters have the fucking need to say the fucking word "fuck" (the game takes place in a crime ridden shithole, of course they'd be using blue language combined with fighting words), but because it was insanely unbalanced. KPR promised a complete rebalancing.

According to one video I saw (not having played the game myself), they supposedly did rebalance it, but it is still a tough game.
I have joined the steam discussion threads since the game release.
Developers never really listened to us nor even tested their own games.
The last release (1.05) is still full of bugs, incoherent textures and effects, unoptimized shaders resulting in black screens and micro-freezes, dumb AI, etc.
Despite this situation, the developers have abandoned the forum and let us with a game more instable and more unpolished than the original version. Don't count to play it on GoG, they will never release their unfinished game on it.

Can be said for phantom Fury as well, slipgate/3drealms are a joke, I half expect a complete closure in a year or 2 at this rate.
It's been 5 months and it's still now out here despite having a page.
The chances of the game coming out on GOG are slim to none. This isn't much of a problem, as from what I've seen it's terrible. Get the original version and add the standard community patches and you'll end up with a better game.
It's been about 9 months since the games release.

If you're not going to release it here if feels a bit disingenuous to have a store page here.
this turned out to be a joke in itself, i mean releasing via gog.

still, still waiting....
