Where can I download maps for DM ?
I´m playing the game with a friend but the original maps for DM are too big...any suggestions of good of 1v1 maps ?
ANd how do I play them ? I took some maps and put in the main folder, but their names do not appear in the menu when I´m creating a server...

You can find hundreds of maps at http://www.kingpinforever.com/ . The place for Kingpin.

To install and play:

-1) put the new maps in the folder kingpin/main/maps
-2) open the file maps.LST in the folder kingpin/main with a text editor
-3) add the name of the new maps this way:
newmap1 "newmap1"
newmap2 "newmap2"
...
-4) save and exit

If the new maps have custom textures or sounds you also must add them in the folders main/textures or main/sound.

Normally you should find these new maps in the ganbang menu...
....

Thunder Arena 2013 updated by Mr Damage & Hypov8

This is a small deathmatch map originally converted to KP from Quake3 by Retard Man. The map was never released for some reason. I found it in my maps folder and, with Hypov8's help, fixed a few errors (such as the hmg not showing up in map) and did some other improvements like adding weather effects, cutting down the number of brushes, adding more spawn points etc and finally now releasing it in 2013
Hypov8 also added another cool weather effect but you'll have to download the map to see what it is

I have made this map the start map on the KP4Ever Detropolis Custom Maps Server so whenever the server is empty it will reset to this map. That means you can download it then go check it out in the Detropolis server.

Hypov8 Releases Updated Warez Deathmatch Map

Hypov8 has finished updating the Warez map and has now released it.

The main change is a complete overhaul of the weapon and item amounts and placement. He also made some minor changes to the layout by adding some conveniently placed boxes and crates to improve the flow of the map.

New Bagman Map Team TNT

Hypov8 and I have been working on a Bagman version of the DMTNT map we recently updated. Well, after a lot of work, it's finally ready and so we have released Team TNT.

Team TNT is a large sized BM map but the layout is pretty straight forward and the two sides of the map are mirrored.

It's an urban style map with mostly standard KP textures used.
There are plenty of player spawns and enough weapons and items for a small army lol.

The bases are pretty big areas which are basically the DMTNT map mirrored and a centre, money drop area, added. We did our best to make the centre area fit the theme of the TNT map and overall I think this map has turned out well.
