just d/l and installed to my rented server the TourneyModv1.3 witch has DM TDM BAGMAN AND HITMEN
all included in the mod.
can eny one tell me how set the comfig files so the TourneyMod on my server always
starts up with hitmen

Hi Butch,

You need to alter settings in the server.cfg file.
You'll find it in the 'main' folder in your tourney mod folder.

First you need to set the server to run deathmatch and then Hitmen
This is because you can run Team DM Hitmen, Normal DM Hitmen and even Bagman Hitmen!

To run normal Hitmen make sure these settings in the server.cfg look like this -

// serverstart is detected.
// Teamplay settings are as follows:
// 0 - Free for all
// 1 - Bagman
// 4 - Team Deathmatch
set teamplay 0
set default_teamplay 0 //value the server is set to when left idle


Then find the following lines and make sure they are set like this -

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
// HITMEN: Rotating weapons, Grenades on Impact, fast shotgun
// 0 = off, 1 = on
set hitmen 1
set default_hitmen 1 //value the server is set to when left idle

There is also a file in the main folder called tm.ini where you can configure other settings such as which weapons rotate in hitmen.

Please note the default settings for Tourney mod is to use monkey mod but as you know monkey mod doesn't work too well with windows7 so I suggest you turn it off.

In the main folder you will see a file called cds.cfg
change the settings to this-

// Uncomment kick_dirty line to kick cheaters from server automatically
// or check them with 'players' command and kick them manually
//kick_dirty

Then you should be good to go :)

Btw this mod also has a Cashman mode that looks like it might be interesting.

BUT now i am geting kicked for not haveing the mm client?
have set the cds.cfg to

but still kicks ME and players entring game.
but if i restart the srever and go in it lets me in?
but when the map changes i get kicked
have addid the mm client to firewall exceptions

Hi,

Now you have cds.cfg set to not use the mmclient you don't need to use mmclient.exe. What happens if you start your server and try to enter just using the kingpin.exe?

I go in to my server typ in my rconx_login "password"
and it says The rconx option is disabled

This one I can't answer :(
By having the ' rconx_file rcons.txt ' line uncommented and a password listed in rcons.txt it should work.
I have tried getting it to work too but I get the same result.
I suggest asking mr Ruler and see if he knows.
