I am really thinking about refunding this game. My RTX can not maintain 60FPS on regular 1080p - in fact the frames will drop at ceratain locations to below 30 FPS You can have a look here -> https://youtu.be/u_RwIzQ-Ib4
Better wait for some patches. If there is no fix soon I will retun it... too bad.

Best regards

Dunno why you would drop to 30 worse I dropped was to 50 also I turned down super sampling and now it maintains 60 fps
Also, some older games just perform badly on newer PC's.

Yes, you are right. Only that the original version performs factor 10 on the same machine -> +300 FPS

I've read that before with the RTX card. Did you try to disable post processing (just for fun)?

But there will be alot of patches in the future, this is just the beginning :)

Unfrotunately the disabeling of all the settings (including postprocessing) did do nothing at all.
My 1650 does`t like the game either. A pitty as I was really lok´oking forward to this title.

And my old GTX 1060 runs it without problems. Maybe the only time others would prefer my GPU ;)
I'm really sorry for you but i think they will fix that sooner or later.
They have a discord server with some of the devs and also a bug-channel maybe you could report your issues there.
So let's get some system specs up here so we can compare our setups and maybe figure out why we are having different results.

I have all details on max @ 1920x1080 with vsync on (I prefer to frame limit my games to 60FPS with no screen tearing). Game runs smooth as butter.

Windows 7 64 Professional (Windows 10 updates are a dumpster fire, no thx)
ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate motherboard (latest BIOS 3.30)
Ryzen 7 2700X CPU
32GB DDR4 @ 2133MHz
EVGA RTX 2080 FTW3 Ultra (NVidia Windows 7 64 driver 452.06)
Sound Blaster ZxR (Creative driver SBZxR_CD_L13_1_01_06)
PCIE 3.0 SSD

No slowdowns at all with this hardware configuration. I do get a crash (game freezes) when I try to exit the game and I have to force close. Screen capture attached.

Hope this helps. I would be interested in seeing other setups.

The official Bug report thread was the first I reported to.

I have all details on medium - high @ 1920x1080 with vsync enabled, too.
My Game runs also smooth as butter :)

Windows 7 64 Home Premium
ASUS M5A97 2.0, AMD 970, AM3, ATX Mainboard
AMD FX 8350 CPU
16 GB DDR3-1600 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (3GB VRAM) GPU
ASUS Xonar DS 7.1 Soundcard, PCI
Samsung 1 TB SSD

I got 1 crash so far while changing the Hud size. Game starts and exits without problems.
I have no FPS drops or something else.

Hope i could help, too :)

No problem at all. Max detail @ 1920x1080:

Low = 75 FPS
Avg = 90 FPS
High = 110 FPS

This is what I have observed so far. I am not very far into the game. So my lows and highs could change.

There are some weird things that happen if I change graphics settings during the game though.

1.) Sometimes the mouse doesn't track properly in the menus after I change the graphics options and confirm. The mouse pointer will be well above where the highlighted menu option is located. This resolves by restarting the game.

2.) Sometimes the game will start in a 1280x720 window even though the settings are set to 1920x1080 exclusive fullscreen mode in the options. Alt-Enter makes it full screen, but only in 1280x720 even though it is at 1920x1080. So I have to restart the game and it will then start in 1920x1080 properly. Doesn't happen all the time.

3.) Game crashes every time I exit the game from the menu.

Note: Maybe you can save at that location where you are barely making 30 FPS in that video you made and link me the save game? I could tell you what I am seeing on mine. Cheers.

I Had the 720p bug as well. But this is not worry me.
I did not notice the Menue crash - no problems there.
Very bad though. The first village gives me 15 FPS (facing in the direction of the citizens).

All the best

First village does drop in FPS quite a bit as you can see in the top left corner. The lowest drop being about 42 FPS. Screenshot attached. Is this the village you speak of traveler?

Playing it on 2560x1440 144hz, Vsync off, Gsync on, everything maxed out but SS=off

frames average between 70-100

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
RAM: 32GB 3200
GPU: RTX 2070
HDD: 5400 RPM 4TB drive
Win 10, 2004

Just curious what your FPS range is when everything is max including SS=2.0?
