I wanna try and use my old save files but I cant find where Re-Reckoning puts its save files.
Anyone that knows?

... I don't own the game yet, but I can give you some suggested locations. And I'm assuming it wasn't in the original game folder lol.

You can check the following locations and see if it's there. Check for folder w/ game title or company name containing your saves.

Under "Quick Access" on the upper left.
- Documents
- Documents\MyGames

From your "Local Drive (C:)"
- Users\FolderBasedOnYouComputerName\AppData\Local
- Users\FolderBasedOnYouComputerName\AppData\LocalLow
- Users\FolderBasedOnYouComputerName\AppData\Roaming

Example - C:\Users\DavesPC\AppData\Local

[Note: You will need to check the box for "Hidden items" in order to see the "AppData" folder. You can find this option if you select the "View" tab. This is for Windows 10. For Windows 7, you'll need to find "Folder Options"]

That's all I can think of at the moment. Maybe someone with more knowledge can help out, but hopefully this will give you somewhere to start in the meantime.

My best guess especially if you have Galaxy would be
C>Users>Your user name>AppData>LocalLow>THQNOnline>Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning>autocloud>save

thanks both of you, I checked everywhere in Local/Roaming and Documents before but finally found it in tommy5761's sugessted location. Again, thank you very much!

After searching for some time, I found the save game location here:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Steam\CODEX

1041720 is the ID assigned to Kingdom of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. Change the save files there, worked for me and I hope it works for you as well. But my AutoSave was playable, manual save games didn't appear on Load Game Tab.

I am looking at GOG in order to get away from Steam. But I keep seeing references to Steam.
Is there a way to get away from Steam? This forum has been enlightening in it's Steaminess.
Maybe computer games need to exit my life.
